Directions:
In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, white sugar, salt, and baking soda.
Add the beaten eggs, fruit cocktail (juice included), and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Pour batter into a greased 9" x 9" square pan and sprinkle with the brown sugar and nuts.
Bake 1 hour in a preheated 325F oven. Serve warm or cold topped with whipped cream.
For variety, try coconut in place of the chopped nuts.
